Larson Educational Services in Fort Myers still has seats available in its weekend offering of the Florida Mortgage Broker Licensing Course. Class runs 3 days total. Our next two classes are September 11-13 (Fri-Sun) and November 13-15 (Fri-Sun) from 8:30am-4:30pm each day.
Our Mortgage Broker License Course is the 24-hour course required to obtain your Florida mortgage broker license.
In this course you’ll learn the basic principles and business fundamentals of financing and mortgage brokerage. You’ll leave the course with a comprehensive understanding of common mortgage terms, state and federal lending laws, mortgage broker standards of conduct, common industry practices, current Florida licensing requirements, and Florida licensing rules.
The course materials include a student workbook with space for notes and sample questions and diagnostic exams to measure your progress and prepare you for success.

Utilizing 30 years of real estate training and professional education experience, Larson Educational Services is the premier provider of Florida real estate licensing, exam preparation, post-licensing, real estate broker licensing and Florida mortgage licensing and continuing education in Southwest Florida. We are growing quickly and are in need of top-notch instructor talent.

We are looking for experienced instructors and trainers in the real estate, mortgage and community association management industries. If you do not have experience as an instructor or trainer, please do not reply. Our instructors are independent contractors paid $30 per instruction hour and $10 per hour for mandatory training and meetings. Generally our instructors teach between 4 and 80 hours per month so if you are looking for a full-time job this is not for you, but this is a great part-time gig with a growing company. To be considered as one of our instructors, you must attend our potential instructor “Stand Up and Speak” presentation on July 16 from 8:30am-12:30pm at our classroom facility in Fort Myers. This is the first step all of our instructors take before beginning to work with us.

INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS:

First and foremost, we need people who are first-class instructors. Our training style is a platform presentation with PowerPoint, engaging examples, and enthusiastic energy. You must thrive on audience and spotlight. Our class sizes range in size from 15-40 students. This is not an off-the-cuff, conversational style presentation. This is professional dress, professional attitude, professional script.

Second, a background in real estate, mortgage or CAM is required. Candidates could be attorneys, managers, trainers, teachers or other real estate professionals. To teach real estate you will need to obtain a Florida Real Estate Instructor License. We will provide you with coaching as necessary.

Third, we need people who are safe, sound, and dependable. You must be able to make a total commitment that once you have accepted a teaching date you will be there and at your best. You will be one of the faces of our organization and be given absolute responsibility for the classroom experience.

Fourth, you must attend “Stand Up and Speak” on Thursday, July 16 from 8:30am-12:30pm at our classroom facility in Fort Myers.
